Hi, my name is Cherish and welcome to my blog of reflections that focuses on self-improvement through the use of self-awareness.
As an adolescent, I set two important goals for myself: 1. To become a counselor 2. To write relatable & motivational content for readers I quickly set out to successfully accomplish the first goal and I'm currently working in the mental health field as a proud Licensed Social Worker. Over time, the passion for writing was temporarily lost while other avenues were explored. However, I have recently begun working on that second goal, created over 15 years ago! A perfect example of how it’s never too late to start, as long as there is breath in your body. With a little mental health promotion, humor, and tea spillage, I’m going to get real personal, sharing past and even present challenges I encounter – like the ultimate dating failures, battling anxiety, financial issues, getting off track from my personal journey, etc. My Cherished Thoughts intends to promote self-improvement, self-awareness, and positive self-thinking to encourage readers to focus on being the best versions of themselves.
